I am getting sharp pain in my left knee, its mainly when i kneel its like i am kneeling on a sharp stone, any one else experienced this i am seeing the rheumy tommorow.

I will ask him, its just that every pain ache i get i have a tendency to relate it to this dam R.A, i sometimes feel daft mentioning things to them, i

never see the same person, i have had my appointments cancelled twice, i sometimes feel like an inconvenience when i am there!

Thanks Anne-m xx

I agree. It is very difficult when you have an ongoing condition. As you both say, every ache and pain is put down to RA and this can be dangerous because something more serious might be left not realising it. Dorothy - don't worry about having a strop, sometimes I think it is necessary. Having your appointment changed 4 times is not on and I don't blame you for being angry. Hi , consultant,s registrar said it may?Huh osteoarthritis in knees/elbows, didnt even look!! I had x ray on fingers as i had a lot of swelling, a big steroid jab in the behind and the offer of Sulfasalazine on my next 3mth app along side of mtx which i inject weekly 20mg.
left the house at 12.30 didnt get home till 4.30 sooo tired.

Dorothy I am in a lot less pain today, but feeling so fed up, i come away non the wiser.
If my knee was in good order i would have stamped about in a tantrum yesterday.ThumbDown

Oh well life goes on as they say!

A recent appointment letter from my hospital said that if I cancel an appointment twice I will be referred back to my GP. Yet they can cancel yours 4 times!!!!!!
